    Dongho Choi, a Montgomery resident who taught himself to swim at age 41 by reading a book, recently attempted to swim around Manhattan Island while rasing money for the Library.

    Jeff Gould, president of the Montgomery/Rocky Hill Rotary Club presented two checks to Brenda Fallon, president of the Mary Jacobs Memorial Library Foundation. The first check for $250 was for the largest team based on registered runners as of April 1 for the event that took place on April 30. The second award for $500 was for the largest team as of the close of online registrations two days before the run. “The Rotary and the library have fostered an incredibly close relationship over the years that we are sure to continue into the future,” said Gould.
